Board and Training
The goal of our training program is to provide well-rounded training for your horse and it's rider. Training at Farpoint is geared towards the disciplines of Hunters, Jumpers and Equitation and our programs are tailored to suit each horse and/or rider depending on their level of experience. Training of the horse includes riding/schooling of the horse on the flat and over fences, lounging or long-reining, treadmill conditioning and light hacking. Horses are schooled in basic dressage and jumping skills (as appropriate).
TRAINING/LESSON PROGRAM
Board w/ Training and Lessons
- Monthly Board (daily stall cleaning, feeding and watering).
- Feeding of pre-packaged supplements (i.e. SmartPaks™ or “baggies”) or vet prescribed medications.
- Turnout, as weather permits.
- Professional rides or other exercise sessions (lounging, treadmill, hacking) as needed (up to 5 times per week).
- Grooming for trainer schooling sessions at home.
- Up to 3 lessons per week.
$1300 per month
Short Term: $375 per weekmonthly lessons/training for non-owners or "haul-in"
Pre-paid monthly lessons for riders who do not own their own horse and are using a Farpoint horse OR lessons for non-boarders that "haul-in".
- $250/month: one lesson per week
- $425/month: two lessons per week
All lessons are semi-private or group and are approximately 45 - 60 minutes in length.
Private lessons or training rides are available for an additional $10/session.

Per Service Rates for Haul-In (payable at time of service)
- $70 single training ride or private lesson
- $65 semi-private lesson
- $15 arena use (per day, per horse; by appointment as space is available)
