The goal of our lesson program is to provide quality individualized instruction presented in a positive and safe environment. Programs are tailored to suit each individual and most jumping lessons are private or semi-private (no more than three people). We want to help riders develop the skills necessary to become confident horse owners and achieve their personal goals, whether riding for pleasure or sport.

On Your Own Horse

• If your horse is currently in a Board and Training Program at Farpoint, lessons are included in your Monthly package.

• “Haul-in” lessons are available for those that board elsewhere.

On A Farpoint Horse

• A small number of horses and ponies are available for lessons

• Farpoint horses or ponies occasionally available for full or part lease.  Lessee must be in a lesson program. 

FARPOINT FARM LESSON PROGRAM

Prices effective JANUARY 1, 2010

INDIVIDUAL LESSONS 

• Individual Lessons are to be paid at time of lesson.
• Lesson Program prices apply to lessons on a FARPOINT lesson horse or for HAUL-IN lessons.  Please see TRAINING price sheet for horses boarded at Farpoint.
• Individual lessons are offered on a space available basis.
• **All lessons will be charged at the staff rate unless a lesson is specifically scheduled for Denise only.

40 minute private lesson or

60 minute semi-private lesson

Assessment Lesson:  Required before enrollment in lesson series.  Approximately 60 minutes.  Includes an overview of how to groom, tack and un-tack the horse, and approximately 30 minutes of riding.  If monthly package is purchased, lesson price is applied towards package.

MONTHLY LESSON PACKAGES

 Monthly Lesson Packages are to be paid in advance on the first lesson day of the month. (For example, June lesson package is due on first lesson day in June).

 Monthly Lesson Packages will be taught by Farpoint Staff. 

Make-Up Policy:  Any lessons cancelled with at least 24 hours advance notice will be rescheduled or carried over into the next month’s package.  Due to time constraints, same day cancellations cannot be made up.

Months in which staff is unavailable to provide a complete monthly schedule (e.g.: Christmas  holiday) will be prorated.

MONTHLY PACKAGE I:  One (1) - 40 minute private lesson or 50-60 minute semi-private lesson per week (average 4 per month)
